El programa TIPAs en Bolivia se lleva a cabo en la regi\u00f3n de la Chiquitania, incluyendo el Bosque Seco Chiquitano, el Cerrado y Pantanal, del Departamento de Santa Cruz.<\/span><\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Sus principales objetivos son<\/span><\/h3><ul><li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Identificar las \u00e1reas o h\u00e1bitats m\u00e1s importantes para plantas raras, amenazadas y \/ o end\u00e9micas;<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Designar TIPAs a priorizar para la conservaci\u00f3n; y<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Promover la gesti\u00f3n sostenible y protecci\u00f3n de las TIPAs mediante la participaci\u00f3n de tomadores de decisiones gubernamentales (municipales, departamentales y nacionales), comunidades locales e instituciones de conservaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h3><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Algunos resultados<\/span><\/h3><p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Basado en los criterios Important Plant Areas: revised selection criteria for a global approach to plant conservation (Darbyshire <em>et al.<\/em> 2017) y actividades que incluyen desde evaluaciones de especies para Lista Roja, inventarios in-situ (campo), mapeo de riqueza de especies, mapeo de especies y estudio de campo, identificaci\u00f3n y mapeo de parientes silvestres de cultivos, plantas medicinales, especies maderables, mapeo de vegetaci\u00f3n y evaluaciones de amenaza de h\u00e1bitat. Actualmente se tiene identificados entre 15-20 \u00e1reas importantes o sitios TIPAs.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Entre ellos, Serran\u00eda de Chiquitos, TCO Naci\u00f3n Monkox de Lomer\u00edo y Laguna Concepci\u00f3n, mismo que se encuentra ya descritos y pronto a ser llevados a al Portal Web <strong>Base de datos global de \u00c1reas Tropicales Importantes para Plantas y Sitio web del Museo de historia Natural Noel Kempff Mercado.<\/strong> Y otros sitios que est\u00e1n en proceso y ser\u00e1n concluidos hasta septiembre del 2020.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Adem\u00e1s de la identificaci\u00f3n de los sitios TIPAs en la Chiquitania, durante las exploraciones de campo se ha logrado identificar nuevas especies para la ciencia que est\u00e1n en proceso de descripci\u00f3n y otros nuevos registros para la Flora de Bolivia.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3ce9790
